Can you buy or sell ECH helmets?

Is it legal to buy or sell ECH helmets? I came back from the middle East with the wrong helmet. I don't think CIF will be pleased with me as I am ETSing soon. I'd like to separate without causing trouble.

It is illegal to sell your TA-50 as it is not your property. You can usually find TA-50 that can be purchased to replace your missing equipment at the local surplus stores or sometimes on the internet.

Thank you SGT. I was afraid that an ECH would be an item that I couldn't simply purchase to replace NSN for NSN.

If you cannot find out where to purchase the item, CIF will give you a statement of charges and it will be deducted from your pay. A helmet will probably cost you around $300
