Can you clear post in civilians?

So my wife is going through ETS clearing at the moment and shes also pregnant. Now even if she wouldve been issued maternity uniforms, they're a requirement to clear CIF. Is there a reg or memorandum that states she can clear post in civilians? If so where can we find it?

What’s the installation’s policy? It will tell you the answer and if waivers are possible.

It would be a local reg/memo most likely. I've seen posts where certain stations (like CIF, Legal, etc) were uniform mandatory - but others (Housing, etc) were not mandatory. Call the post outprocessing center and ask - can't hurt.

You can have a commander sign a mfr designating someone to clear for you (NCO). Hadnt seen anyone clear in civvies though.

She has to turn in the uniform that would fit her while she's pregnant to clear so obviously she needs to wear it to clear.
