Can you collect social security disability and VA service connected disability at the same time?

I have been told different stories and don't know who is correct. And if you receive social security disability do you need to have them take out medicare?

Yes...to all your included questions. You may receive SSDI, VA disability compensation at the same time and once you get on SSDI, you must take Medicare Part B. On this issue, failure to do so can result in you being assesses a premium penalty of 10% premium increase per year for every year you are/were eligible and did not sign up for it.

If you are VA disabled at either 100% or 90^ with Unemployabilty you can qualify for SSDI. Medicare comes with it automatically.

Yes I have Medicare Part A & B that is automatic plus I have Tricare for Life I have Military retirement, VA at 100 and SSDI
