LT Stephen Amiaga 85429 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The question is can you go back to a ship (USS ANZIO (CG 68), in my case) or a station or command you used to work at? I'll compare two personal experiences. One person served on a ship and hasn't visited it in over 20 years since the commissioning and his subsequent move away to other "jobs" before he retired.  The other one went back a few times, and visited the ship a number of times in various locales. What are your thoughts, experiences, ideas. "Why HAVEN'T YOU gone back?" or "Why DID you go back?" Can you ever go back? 2014-03-26T09:38:07-04:00 LT Stephen Amiaga 85429 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The question is can you go back to a ship (USS ANZIO (CG 68), in my case) or a station or command you used to work at? Campbell.</p> Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 27 at 2014 6:35 PM 2014-03-27T18:35:17-04:00 2014-03-27T18:35:17-04:00 SSG Mike Angelo 94715 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As much as i tried to avoid going back to APG after AIT and Instructor assignments, DA found me and my H designator and kept me returning....but...I did not retire there. Instead, I took an assignment to Ft. Sill, Ok; was assigned to the School house there and then retired.  Response by SSG Mike Angelo made Apr 6 at 2014 1:09 AM 2014-04-06T01:09:18-04:00 2014-04-06T01:09:18-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 94889 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I want to go back to Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. It was my first phase of my original AIT and I loved everything about that place. My friends, school, hospital, and the PX. Just everything there was awesome. I was in of the last classes to go through it before the school moved to Fort Lee, Virginia. I'm actually thinking about visiting it after this deployment. It's only 2 hours away from home. I really don't have any pictures of it and I want some for old time sake.  Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 6 at 2014 11:57 AM 2014-04-06T11:57:51-04:00 2014-04-06T11:57:51-04:00 2014-03-26T09:38:07-04:00
