My conditional release has been approved from the reserves and have already started working with my recruiter. But my question is that I was told I need a waiver and now they say I have to get 70% in each event to go active. Not just a passing score. Is this accurate? Can you go active from the Reserves with an RE-3 code (General under Honorable) for APFT failure and having been chaptered out of the NG? 2018-06-29T07:27:10-04:00 SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member 3752706 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am in the process of going active duty. But, I am a tad confused as you say you were Chaptered out of the Guard but are currently in the Reserves trying to go Active. As for the 70%, if this relates to being APFT Fail Chapter, then sounds like they are wanting to ensure you can beat the standards before wasting your time and their time. Maxing out pushups and situps 3x per day and counducting other physical activites to increase your strength and stamina. you must change your life habits to support your goals. its not easy but it is a matter of choice. If you already have a RE3 then you are not really a priority. Usually the Army will only take those that need waivers in times of need. If the Army is meeting their goals then they won&#39;t bother. If you had issues already then the Army won&#39;t want to deal with it. I am not trying to be negative but that is the reality of situation.
