I've written a few books and a lot of short stories. That's why when I saw this comic I couldn't help imagining someone arriving at boot camp (BCT) after leaving a "safe space" behind at college. In my mind's eye I see a dog trying to run on a slick floor to escape something frightful. In all seriousness, I don't think it matters if its a college kid from 2016 or a high school drop out from 1996 - everyone gets a rude awakening on day zero. Thats the whole point.
