I know before I retired there used to be RTU Units where U drill for point but no pay. I think they do AT where you do get paid. Maybe something to look in to.

Find and talk with an Army Reserve Career Counsellor (ARCC). Reenlistment for the purpose of remaining in the Individual Ready Reserve is possible but I'm not sure what hoops you'll need to jump through to make it happen.
