CPT Private RallyPoint Member 6525030 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recently applied for a Secret Service Agent position and just got an email back today saying &quot; You are among the best qualified applicants and are now eligible to participate in the next phase of the hiring process&quot; which means I have to take the SAEE. If I complete the process and get offered a position, would I have to resign my commission? I&#39;m at a little over 14 years right now and I really want to do at least 20 so I can retire. Hopefully someone has some info. I was searching around on forums for some answers but the only thing I found was an article. <br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://cdn.ymaws.com/http://www.roa.org/resource/resmgr/LawReviews/2010/10044-LR.pdf">https://cdn.ymaws.com/http://www.roa.org/resource/resmgr/LawReviews/2010/10044-LR.pdf</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.roa.org/resource/resmgr/LawReviews/2010/10044-LR.pdf">10044-LR.pdf</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Can you serve in the National Guard and Secret Service at the same time? 2020-11-23T18:43:10-05:00 CPT Private RallyPoint Member 6525030 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recently applied for a Secret Service Agent position and just got an email back today saying &quot; You are among the best qualified applicants and are now eligible to participate in the next phase of the hiring process&quot; which means I have to take the SAEE. I also hear of other USAR service members as Special Agents. Had a friend who successfully balanced being part of the executive detail and the Marine Corps reserve. If you do have an issue, I would take it with the government agency that handles that matter. Can&#39;t remember the name, but they handle issues like that for the Guard and Reserve.
