I just signed up for TRS (Tri-Care Reserve Select) and had to familiarize myself with their system. My former CMSgt just signed up for TRR. Its not cheap, but its probably cheaper than other plans. Tri-Care is managed by United Health Care and depending on your area, its might be called different things, but its still Tri-Care.Response by SMSgt Thor Merich made Jan 27 at 2016 12:45 PM2016-01-27T12:45:47-05:002016-01-27T12:45:47-05:00MAJ Michele Bretz1262440<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thanks to everyone! I just got off the phone with both DEERS and Tric-care and found that in fact, I am still eligible until I turn 60 to sign up for Tricare Retired Reserve and the cost was $957.44 for a family premium as compared to our current plan at $1400+ and a huge individual/family deductibles! Even the DEERS/Tri-care reps agree that the ACA new payments are rediculous!Response by MAJ Michele Bretz made Jan 27 at 2016 2:38 PM2016-01-27T14:38:12-05:002016-01-27T14:38:12-05:00CPT Pedro Meza1262709<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would call Tricare and ask them because as a retiree you qualify for Tricare.Response by CPT Pedro Meza made Jan 27 at 2016 4:06 PM2016-01-27T16:06:54-05:002016-01-27T16:06:54-05:002016-01-27T12:37:49-05:00
