So I generally don&#39;t recommend switching to the Marines from any branch as you will be going backwards in your military career. If you have been a PFC for 4 years active or 6 years reserve, that means you must done something wrong or lacking in PT, which will greatly decrease your chances of getting into the Marines. I don&#39;t recommend it. Better life in the army lifestyle wise.
