WO1 Jacob Wellman5865479<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am currently in the Army Reserves and I am always considering becoming a pilot as long as I can make it work with my active duty spouse. If I choose this route it seems like something I'd prefer to do full time. I am aware that I can send a packet in to the active duty side however a friend of mine, who is a recruiter, informed me that this path is a quite a bit more difficult and getting selected may be significantly harder. My chances of being selected in the reserves are quite high right now and I've been informed that there are plenty of slots. There is also the option of returning to active duty enlisted, then sending up a flight packet. This also could take a bit more time. I just want weigh my options here and see if any of you have heard of transitioning from Reserves to Active duty in flight school. I appreciate any responses. Can you transfer from the Army Reserves to Active duty while in flight school as a Warrant Officer?2020-05-08T12:39:43-04:00WO1 Jacob Wellman5865479<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am currently in the Army Reserves and I am always considering becoming a pilot as long as I can make it work with my active duty spouse.
