If the military is charged with protecting American's Constitutional Rights, should Chaplains be punished for sharing their faith?
I realize this topic has the potential spin some people up, so please keep comments clean and professional.

I and many of my friends are not religious people. I for one am not christian. I do not pray nor bow my head during prayer, it is not my thing. However, if this chaplain wants to talk abut God in an effort to save soldiers then more power to him. The powers that have punished this person are sending a message, the message reads; we do not care as much about our soldiers lives as we do about being politically correct.

I wasn't there - so I have no right to say yes/no on what he did or didn't do. However, reading the comments in the article I have to say the Army fucked up on this one. A man opening up about his own personal demons in front of other men deserves a HELL YEAH! rather than the letter he received.
