military modernization.<br /><br />In fact, Navy leaders told lawmakers in February that the Chinese navy now operates a greater number of attack submarines than the U.S. military and is rapidly I think we should keep pace - not necessarily in numbers, but maybe in technology - because I don&#39;t see the Chinese slowing down. That they are not slowing down is one side of the equation.
