China broadcast the video of the Liaoning crew weeks after reports surfaced that China is designing its second aircraft. Asian Defense and Diplomacy released Google Earth satellite images that show China building a model aircraft carrier in the Wuhan Province.

It must have sent them back a pretty penny. Perhaps that is why they are just creating their own islands and building airstrips.
