Choosing between the USAR vs. ARNG: Which has an easier IST process?

May have to leave FL for work reasons and this question pondered my mind.

From my experience the USAR has easier IST process since everything is at federal level already. You can transfer to any reserve unit. With the guard you have to get a release from your current state in order to transfer to a different state. there are extra hoops to jump through with the guard.

I'd say from experience you generally have more flexibility and wiggle room in the Reserves
