I have known a few CHEMO's in my time. I have never seen any of them use what they learned after the Army. Officers usually don't have the skills from their job that makes for an easy transition. Most of out skills that many look for is our management and leadership. If you have a credential that transfers over then that will help but the Army doesn't really have many of those.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 21 at 2022 1:57 AM2022-10-21T01:57:57-04:002022-10-21T01:57:57-04:00CPT Jason W.7943008<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The certs could kickstart a career in firefighting. HAZMAT OPS and Technician Licenses are tough to get on the civilian side. If you are a National Guard Solider, you can get on the Civil Support Team (CST) or on Homeland Response Orders that are both full time gigs. Also could be a foot in the door for Emergency Response jobs in FEMA. Good Luck.Response by CPT Jason W. made Oct 21 at 2022 1:49 PM2022-10-21T13:49:22-04:002022-10-21T13:49:22-04:002022-10-19T15:56:14-04:00
