Yep, I almost just spit out my coffee laughing. I wouldn't expect civilians to know these terms off hand, but their guesses were killing me. Haven't laughed this hard in awhile, haha. Good and light hearted based on the parts I watched.

I use "blue falcon" as a way to find other vets in a group. It's a great way to figure out who served without having to actually ask. If they laugh (or at least don't look terribly confused), they served.

The language, phrases, and acronyms we use must make us sound like Charlie Brown's teacher to civilians who have never served. "Butt Hurt" is one that's made it over to civilians.

My bunk mate in basic got caught, breaking the rules. When the Drill Sergeant asked me to tell the truth I turned him(my bunk mate) in without thinking about it. The Drill Sergeant was surprised I didn't try to lie or cover for him and he(DS) started calling me "Blue Falcon".
