When I'm at work I'll have an energy drink.  I like the energy drink because I can sip on it for most of the day and tastes the same. Sip the same cup of coffee for most of the day and you will want to cut your tongue out. I feel coffee is better cause it has none of the artificial additives unless you add them but its a natural stimulant instead of artificial stimulants, coffee in my opinion is just a acquired taste the younger generation just can't handle. Never cared for the taste of them I guess, would rather have my cup of joe to wake me up and keep me alert. You buy a maker and the bean (pre ground if you wish). and it last weeks. But with an energy drink you buy one a day or a twelve pack and that is twelve days. Don't get me wrong i do drink energy drinks but that is more of a i am in the mood for it. Over all i would have to say it is more of a convieance factor then anything. Take those old brown packets of MRE instant coffee, the cocoa powder, sugar, creamer, little water in the canteen cup. Mix it up. Bam. Now on the weekend if i get a chance i take my time in the morning and make a very tasty french press or pot of my choice and enjoy drinking just one cup even. At the same time i may read the news or listen to the radio for a while and enjoy not rushing my day.
