What is your favorite coin to have received in your career? While it isn't the highest coin (unit/presenter's rank) I received, it is definitely one I am the most proud of.
While serving as the Sgt of the Guard for a funeral detail at Fort Polk, our battalion CSM called us out after the ceremony to talk to us. He informed us that this was one of the best details he had see. Our attention to every detail was spot on. He then presented each member with the BN coin. As he was finishing up, he asked who had been in charge of the detail and then asked me to stay behind.
When it was just he and I, he presented me with one of his SGM Academy coins. In the 3 remaining years I was in, I never encountered someone else with one.

My next favorite was the BDE Commanders Coin from NATO-SHAPE.

My first challenge coin was presented to me in the Marine Corps by the Commanding Officer of MSSG-24 (Camp LeJeune)

Most memorable challenge coin (pictured) was presented about a month before 9/11 while working in the Pentagon.
