So much better than the old motrin. I used to make fun of my NCOs for taking Motrin all of the time but now that I am at 15 years it is easier to see why they did it. Helps with the aches and pains. However I do find myself concerned with the possible long term effects of using it. The docs used to give me naproxen instead but after reading up on it and finding out it could damage my kidneys after pro longed use I asked for ranger candy instead. I'm sure that is no better but I fear looking into the longer term effects of it. "You have a sucking Chest wound, Take these 800 mg Ibuprofine, Return to duty." It seems as for the last 20 years it is the "miricle" drug of choice for Military Docs to perscribe. I have heard that taking too much Ibuprofine is bad for your liver. My father is a perfect subject in this.
