I know we have discussed service member volunteering their time outside of the military and while taking part in that discussion it reminded me of some comments I delivered at an event I spoke at a few months ago.
Anyways, today, I was informed by LinkedIn that I was invited to share my thoughts and ideas as "Influencer" on the site so I figured I would take the opportunity to post something and while thinking of what to write, my mind went back to the idea of this continuing service and so I shared the article linked below.
So while I know it has been asked and answered before and maybe one of my fellow community admins may close this as a duplicate thread (looking at you SSG Burns LOL); I just wanted to see what others here on RallyPoint are doing to continue service and encourage those that aren't paying it forward to look around and see if there is something you can do to help out in your area. Just remember, sometimes the small act has the biggest reward.
