Have try ed getting it changed along with re code and characterization and have been shot down. I was told that I may be able to join 10 years after discharge but it is looking slim. My doctors and anything else they need like a letter of reference and my own letter of knowing I was weak young and uneducated and that I have grown to be strong older and smarter. Were you supposed to ship to Basic or were you Split-Option and supposed to ship to AIT? I was Split-Option when I joined the Reserves. I broke my ankle in April 84 and was supposed to ship to AIT in June 84. When I went to MEPS, with my bags packed, with a doctor&#39;s note from my orthopedic doctor they pushed my ship date back six weeks.
