Could it just be that President Trump's ban on Muslim countries be the greatest tactic to bring love to mankind? Where do you stand ?

Although this is the narrative, most thinking adults know that what we support is immigration in controlled numbers that doesn't overwhelm our ability to absorb them and hurt natural born citizens. Religion and race or other factors have no meaning in our immigration policies.

MAJ David Vermillion I think the vast majority of people misunderstand the EO. It was targeted to specific countries that have been identified as threats. It is not targeted at a particular religion, but all from those identify country.
The words "Muslim ban" apart to be a phrase that passed muster in a focus group showing it would elicit the most negative reaction.

Sir,
I believe there are about 40 Muslim-majority countries in the world. 7 are included in the ban. 3 of them are on terror watch lists, and the other 4 are failed states, in various stages of conflict and civil war. This is a temporary halt on the issuance of visas and a refugee program, not a Muslim ban of any kind. The president has the lead in national security matters, and he is well within his authority to do this.

I am not sure I get your point. We have some in this country that would vet no one, keep a wide open border in the south and not have a single concern about the outcomes. We need not listen to that sort of insanity.

Having some people united to let anyone (and I mean anyone) from these 7 countries in without a real solid vetting is not unity, it is stupidity.

So what definition of love are you using? I love my fellow Americans enough that I do not want to expose them to attacks like Nice or Paris, France, Brussels, Berlin and a host of other places. I do not want American women sexually assaulted by people who do not embrace, understand or care about our culture.

Okay, so a million women gather in Washington to march against Trump and they are pleased with themselves for clearly demonstrating that America is united in opposition to him. What about the 30 million women who marched to the polls to vote for him? A goodly number of people have demonstrated against Trump's temporary halt to bringing refugees from Muslim battlefields to the United States and we're supposed to "feel the love"? How about all those who voted for Trump to make sure that we weren't importing other people's troubles and making them our own? And still feel that way... Personally, I'm not moved by the ranting and raving nor the rioting by a group of petulant children who think that looting and blocking traffic will help me "see the light". Not only do they help me become further entrenched in my support of Trump's efforts, but also look for their arrest, especially when I find reports that they blocked an ambulance and put a patient's life at risk.

True love can only come through God and Jesus. Liberals do not want love, but rather, Chaos, as this is their agenda. It's not love that unites them to allow more Muslims to enter this country. It's their hatred for America, and what it stands for, that unites them, despite their personal differences.

As was pointed out in previous posts on this thread, there was never a ban on Muslim countries so, I'll leave that alone. What the heck does "...the greatest tactic to bring love to mankind" mean? Just looking at what has happened after the election, it is pretty obvious that the very people who talked peace, tolerance, cooperation, compromise and, fairness have none of those qualities themselves. The very same people also illustrates that no one man can bring love to mankind. Jesus Christ couldn't do it and he was the son of God. It isn't because of his inability, it is because of the free will of men. So I am interested in the line of thinking of the aforementioned thought.

I also am curious as to the meaning of, "Where do you stand? Is there a right stance or a wrong stance to stand on? If so, which is right and which is wrong and why? Who makes the decision on the right or wrong?

There a lot of generalizations but no substance behind it.
