Could we create a military version of the comic strip Dilbert simply by drawing uniforms on the characters?

As a consultant/contractor I had the opportunity to work at more places than most. One thing that transcended every workplace was the posting of Dilbert cartoon panels on virtually every cubicle, office, and breakroom. Also as ubiquitous was the fact that bosses invariably stopped to chuckle at each (even though they were the butt of the joke). Is it the same in military posts today?

I think a true military version of Dilbert would provide an even more insane yet accurate reflection of the military -mind than Dilbert does of the private sector.

I've noticed that myself. I love Dilbert, and working in IT for the past 17 years, have noticed that many of the cartoons match what I see/have seen in the work place.

There is no doubt. Having lived in both the Corporate and Military worlds, I have learned one thing: "Bad management is a universal truth."

This is why things like Office Space and Dilbert carry over to the military world so spectacularly well. Both sides offer levels of stupidity that can be painful to your brain.

CPT Jack Durish, I too worked in the private and public sector. Dilbert cartoons abounded in the work areas. Always enjoyed a good laugh. I'm also a fan of Terminal Lance. If I had the talent, I'd to a cartoon strip about iron majors, maybe call it "Iron Leaves" or "Oh Four."
