Let us put the IRS out of business. I spend many days every year doing my taxes. It is harder than it used to be, because you can not call the IRS with questions. I can see the IRS & tax prep industry fighting tooth & nail to keep something like that from happening, but I can't think of any reason it shouldn't work.
