It would be interesting to see it on a mobile device, but in its current form, BSD is not suited for use on mobile devices. Unless things have changed over the last year, it still has issues supporting some hardware such as wireless devices and Bluetooth is spotty. Also, the community would have to soften its "hardcore" stance of, "if you want support for x device or you want y feature, write the code yourself."

SGT (Join to see) - Good Luck! I remember doing that back in 2004. I went from Mandrake, to Fedora, to Suse, to Ubuntu, and ended back with Fedora. Now I tend to look for stability. Sometimes I will fire up the wife's old laptop, a 5 year old Asus with an AMD proc, to see what distro's I can get running on it.

SGT (Join to see) - No, I had tried Arch Linux in 2003, and it was not a happy time. At that time, you had to compile it. My computer would always crash 1/2 way through. So I ended up going to Mandrake for a while.

Manjaro is the norm for those who want to use it without having to build from the ground up. I plan to try it within the next few months.
