What's going to happen to the 1200 kids who are enrolled in these Charter schools.
I think this stinks. The courts should allow the schools to stay open till the end of the school year before shutting them down.

This is not good at all. I think judges have a little too much power over things like this. I think the govenor needs to make a decision here. this is why we homeschool.

PO2 Brian Rhodes - yep...exactly! I am not a fan of unions. Down here in Texas, Unions do not exist or do not take a prevalent stance in employment. I see unions as bully's...like the mafia...lol and like this administration.

People do not like unions, but they want equal pay and for the big companies to not get as rich as they are. You cannot have it both ways.

SFC Jerry C. - I said they do not exist or they are not prevalent in Texas.
People in Texas DO NOT LIKE Unions and we shun them...There are not very many jobs that are UNION jobs here.

PO2 Brian Rhodes - I have found that most of my clients who have worked for a union are blue collar workers. I used to be in the Head hunting field...along with Temporary agency placement for 10 years....and worked with NUMEROUS LARGE companies across Texas...and not one of them belonged to the Union. I've had an ear full about Unions from my dad and his horrible experiences with Union workers.. ugh...yeah, don't get me started either. LOL

I always suspect that it was in Violation of most States Constitutions. I am amazed that it took anyone this long to challenge it. States are charges with providing and overseeing Education and I thought inserting a third party into the process to Syphon funds away from the Legitimate Schools was basely corrupt. If you want to go to Private School you better have the money.
