Having had some basic security training, albeit 40 years ago, I do remember that things like this should never happen; and, back then, if someone slipped by me I would have lots of explaining to do. As would my team members, our supervisors, and their superiors.
My only questions then would be, "Are things that much more lax now than they were previously?" Followed by, "Is physical security, not a normal thing to worry about any more? And, "I thought this stuff only happened in movies or television shows."

Thanks for reading this.
Have yourselves a great day.
