Curtailment

I have been trying to get an assignment projection from Korea to a southeast duty location since September. In September found out that my who was with me in Korea, non-command sponsored was pregnant with our first baby. Since then we have learned it's a boy and that the due date is 7 days before my DEROS. So multiple curtailment and compassionate reassignment request later, I finally get a projection in EDAS that still hasn't hit my ERB or ASK since 12 Feb but S-1 can see it in EDAS, I still can't get orders home. I am trying to figure out now why my latest curtailment was disapproved because Korea is short 92Y's. My replacement doesn't show up till almost two months after my DEROS so what is an extra 30 days, especially when both my BN CDR and BDE CDR both say no impact to mission and approved. What am I missing? My wife who is exactly 2 months today (give or take a week) from giving birth is trying to move her, the household goods and 4 pets to Fort Stewart, GA with no idea when I get to come home. My chain of command has been doing everything they can think of, what am I missing with HRC? I mean chain of command mentioned that if I could get the projection on ASK, I would then be able to do my levy packet, get my orders with an early report date (currently 10 June 2014), then they could allow me to take leave to be home with my wife, help her move, etc, report into my unit early, then take my permissive TDY and 10 days when she goes into labor. I just don't know what I am missing with HRC, my assignment in EDAS not hitting ASK or ERB and how I can get a curtailment approved?
