The Air Force Association has sponsored a Cyber competition for a few years now that pits Middle school to High school age students/associations against each other in an attempt to secure various cyber systems to a set rubric. The end goal is an attempt to teach Cyber awareness and promote S.T.E.M. in schools... I was able to offer a little mentorship last year to a school in Maryland, not much because I was in the middle of a PCS move. It should be starting back up very soon... The topic I'm discussing is the CyberPatriot Elementary School Cyber Education Initiative (ESCEI) that is aimed towards the education of Elementary age students in the Cyber realm. Take a look at the link below and use it as you see fit. Maybe some of you Cyber related SNCOs/NCOs can get some of your troops/sailors/ECT to lead a Cyber discussion with an elementary school or Boy/Girl Scout Troop/Sea Cadet(s)...

Thanks for sharing CPO (Join to see). Maybe my daughter (she's 3) will follow in her daddy's footsteps and become an IT professional! :)

At my high school our cyber patriot team, the jrotc instructor head of the team was a SFC who had done IT his whole career mostly before being an IT instructor. Lucky for us
