I recently got DA Selected for Recruiter Duty. Not the path I wanted to take at this point in my career, but I want to make the best of it. I hear there's a lot of changes....any current or recent Recruiters out there that can fill me in on what to expect? Anything is appreciated.

SSG,
I just volunteered and was accepted for recruiter duty and would like to pick your brain if you are so inclined.

Thank you sir.
Interesting, some like it and some don't! I would have preferred DI myself! Just be advised, like every duty and assignment you have had, it is what you make of it that counts!

Thanks chief, I think drill would fit me better but I'm optimistic and ready for a new challenge.

I liked my recruiter, that was until his promise did not culminate for me, however, I have many friends who are now warrants who did recruit. They all speak of it with pride and enjoyment, but are glad it is done. Most of them have the jewels from making mission and are great folks. Truly if you like people and enjoy your service, you can speak with personality and enthusiasm so that others will want to join our team. Hopefully some previous or current recruiters can chime in for you!
