It is with a sad heart that I announce the passing of yet another American hero.
The family of E6 Danny D. Crigger, USA, (Korean, Vietnam, & Germany Veteran), of Rural Retreat, Virginia, passed away 18 May 2014 after a long illness. He was a VFW member, beloved friend and devoted family man, and still served his community and church in the "community food bank" for years. The Heroes family has graciously invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in Silent Honor & Respect of this well deserved soldier, who has now laid down in rest.
It will be our mission as Patriot Guard Riders to serve this Heroes family and a honor to do so. Danny is the brother of Rev. Roger Crigger, Pastor of Rural Retreat PH Church. All contacts have been made and this mission is a go.

There have been many RallyPoint members who have sought ways to recognize impactful individual service members and veterans who have passed either in combat or after their military career.
It is not practical to recognize every individual with a separate discussion, but we are happy to host those posts on this central thread.
You are invited to post responses here about individual service members and veterans that you wish to honor.
