Define "RBI"

Leaders and Soldiers.

Chances are if you have been in a while you have heard... RBI. In fact, as a young soldiers I DREADED this more than... Hey, (insert vulgar and almost endeering name here). Do 100 push-up then, roll into traffic.

Now in the years, not that many, I have been in I have been subject to this VILE and FEARED form of corrective action and came to a point where I realized. It actually worked... To Some degree.

But I have heard many, many different break downs of this... It falls into some of those listed below

Reason Behind Incident, explaining what the events really were and how I will correct them

Response by Inducement, with no clear definition of what that actually is...

Reinforcement by Endorsement, usually followed by a category I am to write about involving an element or two that were involved in the need to do it in the first place...

And many more.

I really only got 1 or 2 but I always asked my NCO's what it meant. I usually just tell my soldiers to do an Essay, not an "RBI". Cause I 100% feel... I have no idea what the heck that means either.

I've consulted SGT Google, the best NCO in history of the universe, and even he has no idea what the heck I'm asking.

I'm just curious, if you were asked by your troops. You would reply with?

This is in no way asking for anyone to find the answer for me, it's really just meant for like minded individuals to have a laugh.
