I just had a long talk with a friend of mine who works in the VA. We talked at some length about this problem. We had a nasty case involving a (maybe) preventable death here in Minneapolis, followed by a clerk changing the appointment date he had months later to a later one (saying the veteran called to change the appointment)... 17 days after he had a seizure and died.

Some hard looks in the mirror need to happen in that agency.

Its not the only VA with dental backups, Tulsa,OK clinic has the same problem. I myself going on 9 months just to get a small partial To replace a bridge they took out last Feb
