The dental clinic at basic will not do a lot of work in order to ensure that you can complete training. Once you get to your duty station, you will receive all required dental work. You will not be disqualified for a couple of cavities.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 6 at 2020 6:53 AM2020-06-06T06:53:34-04:002020-06-06T06:53:34-04:00SGM Bill Frazer5976273<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Doubtful- just see a dentist at 1st duty station.Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Jun 6 at 2020 11:25 AM2020-06-06T11:25:48-04:002020-06-06T11:25:48-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member5976762<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Simple answer, no it will not disqualify you. You will likely get all dental work needed in basic, probably on weekendsResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 6 at 2020 2:29 PM2020-06-06T14:29:18-04:002020-06-06T14:29:18-04:00SSG Brian G.5978292<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No. All of what you have described is minor, at least as far as the military goes. MEPS knows about these from the repeated x-rays they have taken of your mouth. And even if they did not? Mouth issues are something can arise fairly quick and be taken care of just as quickly. Worst case scenario you ship for basic, you get there and during in processing they do a quick dental screen and see all this and take care of it, thus delaying your start of BCT by a bit. The Army does not care. You signed a multi year contract. You get cleared/off profile and then you go into rotation for a BCT class and you soldier on. Not a big thing or anything to worry about.Response by SSG Brian G. made Jun 6 at 2020 11:17 PM2020-06-06T23:17:04-04:002020-06-06T23:17:04-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member5978388<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I went through in jan of 18, we had a couple of folks have some dental work done. No wisdom teeth extraction, but we had 2 or 3 get some fillings.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 7 at 2020 12:50 AM2020-06-07T00:50:58-04:002020-06-07T00:50:58-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member6096369<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes I have answer.
