Did fours years active duty then transferred to reserve. Can I transfer from Reserve to IRR?

I ETSd from active duty last year after a 4 yr active duty service, and signed to join a reserve for another 2 yrs. However I do not think Reserve is for me and was wondering if AR 410-10, 4-1, para D. "Upon completion of a contractual agreement to serve in a TPU which the Soldier incurred on initial enlistment in the USAR under a 3x5, 4x4, 5x3, or 6x2 option." can apply.

You will need to speak with your Commander and Retention NCO. Those two individuals are the ones that facilitate IRR transfer requests

I do a lot of IRR packets. These are usually the three options. Like MSG (Join to see) stated talk with your Retention NCO, your ARA or UAT can do all the rest if they have signature authority.
Request an early release to the IRR IAW 140-10.
Reenlist back into the IRR. (Earliest date possible is 90 days prior to ETS)
Finish your MSO and ETS

SGT (Join to see) No don’t think so but don’t know your whole situation but more than likely you will have to re-enlisted into the IRR.

I signed a guard contract for the try one program a few months ago and was wondering if I can get out of it or request to go to the IRR instead. I’m currently on terminal leave and already received my dd214 and amended orders my ets is in October and I was told to report to my guard unit 30 days after my ets date. Is there any way out of it? Over my terminal leave I decided the reserve is going to be difficult for me to juggle my civilian job and overall a waste of time I regret signing that contract. Is there any loophole around it?
