As a minister all I will tell my congregation is to study the candidates and to vote. I would also add that most ministers regardless of race should encourage members of their congregations or broadcast audiences to take the time to carefully study and listen to each candidate. Pretend to not know the race of the candidates. Do this for every level of public office from the township board up to the presidency. Don't let the media dictate who we need to consider as viable candidates. Also, when someone vocalizes who they support, hear them out and respect their opinion. It is not fair to anyone for you as that person's friend or relative speak insulting words against them because they do not support who you think they ought. We all have a right to believe and vote as we wish and in accordance with our own conscience and values. I know that GOD gave Joseph and Daniel the ability to decipher the dreams of Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar but I did not know that Bryant could read the hearts of those 100 Pastors. He best be aware for False Prophets were stoned for doing what he did. He may be a Pastor, but you can read Liberal all over the article and if anyone is seeking 15 minutes of Fame, it is Bryant.
