Did you find it easy to follow the rules and regulations of the military; when you first entered the military?

I found it easy to follow the rules and regulations of the military; when I first entered it....because I was scared to death!?! ;)

Yes as most people who entered the service at a young age were probably scared to death and didn't know what was going to happen. Today its no different, I follow the rules and make it happen whatever it may be. I also value my time and money so getting in trouble was not an option.

I was raised to respect authority, and I understood the end game of recruit training, so I didn't have a problem with following orders. I didn't always execute the orders well enough or fast enough to please my DIs ( who does) but it wasn't from lack of trying.

Yes. I may not have agreed with them. However, i did understand them and the consequences of failing to follow them, - if caught not following them.

Ha, that was my whole goal so I didn't get picked out at basic. Do what I was told when I was told, no more and no less. That way my MTI had little to no reason to ever get on my case about anything. I accomplished that goal pretty much with flying colors.

No problem at all. Growing up I knew what would happen if the rules weren't followed.

I was all in when I first joined. I listened to my drill sergeants on everything. I can't say I didn't learn some bad habits later, but I can say I never called soldiers by their first names. Plus, regulations had my back at work if things got heated between myself and someone of higher rank. Just as a few examples. Really, if you continue doing what you were taught, its fairly easy to follow the rules.
