I was the Truck Commander for our MRAP Cougar in Kabul, we used to start every morning off with Ozzy's Crazy Train! It was surreal and got the blood pumping!

Anything from Disturbed, Nickleback, or some old Judas Priest. My Gunner thought he was going to be funny one day and plugged in the Barney theme song. Couldnt get that damn song out of my head for a week.

Yea "Dear John".....because I hold the record in Force Troops FMF for getting the most Dear Tom letters in one year...and to the best of my knowledge that record still stands today... Although one guy came close and he got some Dear Johns written on toilet paper... I never got any of those thankfully

“Who Was In My Room Last Night” by the Butthole Surfers and “Take No Prisoners” by Megadeth. Use these for drag racing (at a track) as well. Check Em out! They’ll get the blood moving! I could list dozens... I also had my wife send me a P-Bass and an amp to me while stationed at Camp Phoenix in AFG (2013) – as the OPS Officer, I felt it was my duty to improve morale by cranking some music and playing along (in my office – we were in a rickety old B-Hut). There, I played every kind of music as not all are fans of metal. After hours of course. Brought the bass home for sentimental reasons, donated the amp to the local chaplain’s office.

"Nothings gonna stand in my way" by Spectre General. It was the first rock/heavy metal song I fell in love with from the Transformers Movie sountrack (cartoon 1985) That song got me through IED's, mortars, sandstorms and anything you could think of!!

The song that I have listened to since 1972 is "I Can See Clearly Now" by Johnny Nash. It is my all time favorite song.
