I wanted an electric guitar and amp. I should have specified, Fender or Gibson-type, but I didn't. What I got was a hollow plastic one with a sort of amp. Granted, I was ten at the time...:)

Yes, I always wanted a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun. I finally received one from my awesome wife several years ago and now it is a permanent part of our Christmas tree decor. No, it doesn't have the compass, but yes, I'll actually shoot it inside our home (with the appropriate eye protection.) The rest of the year it sits in its honorable place in my gun safe along with everything from .22 to 50BMG. It still is one of my favorites:)

It was hard being a kid, but nothing compares to being a married adult with kids. I wanted an ATARI soooooo bad. Today, I just want to be able to see my children, even if I don't get to speak to them. If this message gets to just one parent who uses children as pawns in a game of trying to hurt the ex, it is worth the time to write it. Please, Please, Please, for the sake of the kids, let go of your hate and stop making the kids pay for your inability to let things go. I'm sitting on gifts for multiple birthday's and Christmas and just want to be able to hand them over. If you don't see that your actions hurt the children then you truly need to seek therapy. This is not meant as an insult, but as a plea for you to get help so that you may find peace in your life.
