Did you have a dog with you, in combat? Do you still have that dog?

I am not trying to rude by any means but I just can't help to question this question. Pets are banned in combat. Some people have them. I know some do but I have only known a couple situations in which a dog made it back to the US with a service member. Unless it was a service dog but I don't think you are asking about a service dog.

CPT (Join to see), You are not being rude at all. I know that I am very naïve about combat, (I have never seen combat.) however, I have seen photographs, etc. of combat troops carrying dogs on their backs.
I, of course, did not know that pets are banned in combat. I am incredibly glad that they are.
