Did you hear about the attack of the USS Nevada by the Rogue Seal Team?

USS Nevada Submarine attacked by Rogue SEAL Team while docked at Bremerton WA. THIS WAS NOT A PLANNED TRAINING EXERCISE. According to Navy officials, the takeover didn't last long. The SEALs were quickly driven off the ship by members of the ship's crew. A picture of the team was taken as they made their escape back into the water, leaving from the ship's bow. None could actually be identified, as they were in their SEAL-issued wet suits and underwater gear.

Those seals may have been escaping marauding great white sharks or perhaps orcas unlike the ORSA's which may threaten SEAL funding every now and then Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS :-)

I've seen worse with slightly intoxicated sailors returning from liberty. I do have to admit those were some of the ugliest SEALs I have ever seen.

When one of the ships I was stationed on was moored at NAS North Island CA, there was a small basin on the other side of the pier that the base used to moor its small boats.

One day a couple of baby seals decided that they were going to make themselves at home on one of the patrol boats. Our MA's tried to chase them off but the seals weren't having it. They actually ended up calling in a couple of seal trainers from Sea World San Diego to trap/release the babies.

Those are technically sea lions (Otoriids or eared seals). True seals (Phocids) can't maneuver on land so well but still pack a powerful and infectious bite. :)
