Did you hear about the Police Department launches training program for military veteran officers?

"IF ONE VETERAN CAN NOT BE KILLED, OR ONE POLICE OFFICER CAN NOT DIE, AS A RESULT OF THESE TRAININGS, I’LL FEEL IT’S A SUCCESS."
Apex Police Capt. Blair Myhand

Innovative program aims to help police officers who are veterans connect with fellow veterans in need

Program inspired by a real incident involving an Air Force veteran and Apex police officers

Organizers want to train Wake County officers first but hope to expand it regionally and nationally

I love this and I hope this training makes it's way across the country so conflicts can be solved without unneeded violence and escalation.

No COL Mikel J. Burroughs I did not hear about the Police Department launches training program for military veteran officers in Wake County, North Carolina. Thanks for sharing I hope the program is very successful for both the police department and for veterans. It is good to know that Nick Blalock had a relationship with the two police officers Jonathan Guider and Harry Pennington who are both veterans.
