In all the craziness of the news and posts about what Obama has done wrong or what Trump might do or what Ben Carson did to put his foot further in his mount of which emails Hilary sent from which server, this kid has demonstrated that there is still hope for humanity. More often than not, adults could learn a lot of kids, if only we stop for a second to listen to what they are saying. Be kind, be truthful, help each other out not because you'll get some great reward but because it's the right thing to do. Put others ahead of yourself. Kids are some really smart people, it's only when those kids grow up and enter the dog-eat-dog world that these simple concepts are lost by some.Response by SGT Ben Keen made Sep 24 at 2015 9:44 AM2015-09-24T09:44:41-04:002015-09-24T09:44:41-04:00SSgt Private RallyPoint Member989901

Awesome boy! That seems like the actions of a very thoughtful child who was probably raised in a loving home.
I it is nice to know that there still are schools where children can communicate freely with their classmates about desires to help others - including disabled veterans.Response by LTC Stephen F. made Sep 24 at 2015 10:19 AM2015-09-24T10:19:44-04:002015-09-24T10:19:44-04:00PO3 Steven Sherrill989980

Parenting done right. A little off subject but I think the government should do a heck of a better job caring for Veterans. That should be this country first order of business when it comes to providing services and assistance to any group of people absolutely no offense intended to anyone. I am so sick and tired of hearing so many lying politicians say what they are going to do for Veterans. Then they back door us screwing us out of something we deserve. My question is why are there so many homeless veterans? When the peace treaties are negotiated and signed. The fight and war isn't over for the Veterans it continues. However politicians can easily agree on spending trillions of dollars sending us into battle. Then why can't the politicians come to their senses and agree on spending billions taking care of the Veterans? As politicians they don't have to be brave to send us into battle. The ones that go into battle are the braves ones putting their lives on the line to ensure we have a free nation . However the politicians should have some decency to see that we get what we deserve when and if we return and not have to fight our own government for it. This shouldn't be a partisan issue when it comes to looking out for Veterans.

PEACE!Response by SSgt Harvey "Skip" Porter made Nov 17 at 2017 12:07 PM2017-11-17T12:07:27-05:002017-11-17T12:07:27-05:002015-09-24T09:37:54-04:00
