No, I did not but I loved photography and did take many photos during my time on active duty

Never did officially, but I have never seen anything as photogenic as the military in all of its phases. Especially ordnance.

Not officially SPC Margaret Higgins; but, I took many pictures of the soldiers I served with unofficially and kept notes on the back which helped me remember when, where and who was in the Polaroids, 110 and 126 instamatic camera formats and later 35 mm camera formats in the 1970's and 1980's.
I have posted many of these pictures on the units Facebook pages since there are ways to do that rather easily and a few to Together WE Served. Hopefully RallyPoint will make that capability available here as well.

Yes I did. I got bamboozled. With my first tour being in Hawaii and being single I bought a lot of Camera Equipment and I loved to use it. While in NSGD Sugar Grove, WV the OIC Noticed and when the Command Photographer Left he called me into his office told me to accompany the AOIC to the Photo Lab. AOIC taught me to develop film and everything else then pointed at the Fridge full of Paper and Film and said Surprise this is all yours and you are the New Command Photographer. Rotten Sneaky Bastards. Just another skill set to my Repertoire.

No but I had a better job for the last year of my contract. I was a Marine Corps Lifeguard on Pyramid Rock beach at MCBH Kaneohe Bay Hawaii. That job can't be beat.
