<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Chapter 7, AR 600-37 that allow a Soldier to request documents be <br />transferred from the performance folder to the restricted folder in <br />their OMPF/AMHRR. I would head to that source and have it transferred. In my opinion, any kind of derogatory actions in a Soldiers file, especially NCOER or OMPF would hinder their ability to attain a higher rank. Right now, with all the downsizing that the military is going through, it is just one more strike against them; even if it was a long time ago. Hope it works out. <br>

Especially if it is something menial.  Depending on the severity of the A15 it shouldn't matter to the board that it exists.  9/10 as an E5 it is understanding that Soldiers - especially young NCOs will go through some growing pains. In closing, no. Just leave it, it shouldn't effect their look for 7. Great post and thanks for sharing. </p><p><br></p>

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Remember that the Army is downsizing and I would have to make a professional guess stating that our restricted file will be available for all to see for selection boards. I believe people can rehabilitate especially if the incident happened when they were privates. The Army wants to present a professional image and the guidelines are getting thinner and thinner. Doing the right thing at all times no matter what is the trend. Some of the ways they are using to downsize the force my not be popular but it sure is catching those individuals who always got over.<br>
