I'm not saying it's a bad thing to close or remove a discussion. It's very often warranted....it would just be nice if the notification bar said the title of the thread, like this:

Should a 2LT salute a 1LT
Discussion closed or removed

My only real reason for wanting this, I suppose, is that sometimes I refer back to the notification list as a quick way to find my way back to a thread I'm following, so when I see the notification, the OCD in me starts wondering which thread I'm missing out on.

Is something like this possible, LTC Yinon Weiss? It does not tell me which discussion was closed or removed nor why. If we are not informed of the logic behind these decisions we can never learn. Also, I got voted down twice by someone called unknown. I do not mind being voted down, as not everyone will agree with my perspective and this is just one of the many wonderful things about living in America, but I would still like to know who or why as no one should fear retribution for expressing their opinion in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. This is the email that I sent to them and I am still waiting for a reply. If any of y'all have and opinion or idea Sgt Richard Hanner, SFC Mark Merino, PO1 George Medley, etc., I would appreciate hearing from you! Here is the email I sent: I have had some things occur on this website that have caused me to raise my eyebrows and question what is going on. I have received to votes down from someone called hidden. Can you hide your identity, and is so (in a forum of freedom of speech and ideas) why and how? Second question is that under my "bell" for the sake of a better term it says conversation completed or terminated. Completed or terminated by whom? Which conversation? Who can terminate a discussion and why? These rules, etc., are not spelled out specifically when you start out with this RallyPoint site and I am trying to determine what type of entity I am communicating with.

Respectfully,

Steven F.
