Do 17 series MOS’s get deployed?

25B trying to reclass to 17 series. Curious about what the day to day is for cybersecurity specialist and whether or not they deploy.

I'm unsure of an MOS that DOESN'T get deployed at some point or another.

Anyone can be deployed if they are deployable...

Let me scratch my head on that one… are wanting to deploy or trying to avoid deploying. Because if it’s the latter, then you, my friend chose the wrong employer

You can get deployed.
Many years ago I met with a friend from highschool who was enlisting ten years after I had. He said his job didnt deploy. I informed him he was wrong, he was adamant that there was no reason for his jib to be overseas, we argued but ultimately I let it go. A year later he sent me an email from Iraq.
Bottom line: Any job you do, it is either cheaper, or simply more efficient to have you near the people you are supporting. This may lead to a warzone, or it could lead to a tropical island, Ive had both, but more often its the warzone.

Everyone can get deployed, even guys failing PT can get deployed. I'm a 27 series and they deployed me. Even the Coast Guard deploys, if they need you they need you.
