Do Army National Guard Soldiers deploy to UAE or Jordan?

Thanks for the responses all. I am trying to get information on people who deployed to either. Although information is limited I next year there are deployment to either Jordan working with Jordanians or the UAE security operations. I am trying to get a feel what people the pros and cons of people who been deployed there especially if they have done similar missions. Thanks again. Cheers!

I did not go to Jordan/UAE myself but several member of my PLT did. We were doing Customs. I may be able to assist.

Possible if of find a tasking and are release by guard or with one of few on orders to those countries. Another option is either get attached or join reserve. They go

Yes, a unit I am familiar with deployed to Jordan for a few months short of a year recently

I trained Kuwaiti mechanized infantry. The boy scouts are more disciplined then the Kuwaitis.

There are some major exercises in both countries, in UAE its an aviation exercise - this years has been delayed, not sure how long.
In Jordan, there is a major exercise, many countries participate. CENTCOM runs it....what American unit participates changes each year- This past one was members of the Illinois National Guard.
I was working both of these as a member of US Army Central at Shaw AFB in SC.

I believe the Colorado National Guard has a partnership with Jordan. Also look into any units that are aligned to CENTCOM/ARCENT.

My son deployed to Jordan 2013-14 for training mission under OEF orders.
