Do Chaplains go to the Direct Commission Course before CH-BOLC?

I've heard 2 different versions of this, one is that Chaplains and Chaplain Candidates attend DCC in order to attend CH-BOLC. The other is that CH-BOLC is the only course that they attend. Can someone shed some light on this, I just want to know what to expect as I am due to commission next week. Thank you.

I have a BN Chaplain at CHBOLC right now, there was nothing about a 'Direct Commission Course.' In fact, this is the first I have ever heard of such a course.

You go directly to CH-BOLC there is no other qualifying course.

As for the Army, there is no direct commission course as it relates to a Chaplian. The only course for your commission is CHBOLC as a Chaplain.

Could be someone confusing CIMT (Chaplain Initial Military Training---now called something else) with DCC. But when you get picked up as a Chaplain, your first 3 weeks is the CIMT, then the other 3+ months complete CH-BOLC. I'm at the Chaplain Captain Career Course as I type this. So it's fresh out of the oven.

SO, what I have heard directly from the school house is yes it is required for all even prior service acting as a prereq. for CHOBOLC.
